Hello web (almost)

Well, I haven't gone blind yet from staring at this computer screen for hours, copying and pasting codes for my web site. In a week, the new site should be ready to go live on the world wide web.

Well, I have the basic setup of the site coded. Now it's just a matter of coding the basic shell to fit each individual page. So far, I have about 5% of the pages done!

Hello, blogosphere

Yes, it's corny to start my first blog post with "Hello", but what can I say. I'm a virgin blogger so maybe you'll forgive me.

I'm just writing to let everyone know that yes, finally, there will be a new, fully functional e-commerce site for Em's Gems within the next few months. I found a good XHTML book and I'm coding the site line by line.

So check back from time to time to check my progress and see how I'm dealing with all of those funny little codes.
